The Glacier Lagoon is one of the most amazing natural wonders of Iceland. Actually it’s often told to be one of the natural wonders in the world! On this sightseeing tour to the glacier lagoon you will experience a day full of glaciers, icebergs and waterfalls in one of the most beautiful part of Iceland.
This tour takes us along the beautiful South coast of Iceland to the extraordinary Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and you will have plenty of time exploring the lagoon with it’s floating icebergs. Jokulsarlon is the largest and deepest lagoon in Iceland and it’s located in the south east part of Iceland. The lagoon branches out from Breidamerkurjokull, an outlet glacier of the Vatnajokull glacier the largest glacier in Europe.
On our drive back we will visit one of the most famous waterfalls in Iceland. We will visit the beautiful waterfall Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind and through to the other site. On this trip you will get to see why these waterfalls are so popular, they are just so fantastic when you see them. These waterfalls are actually one of the most famous waterfalls in the world and it’s so amazing to view their beauty at the end of the day.
