You are not joining a regular tour but an adventure with endless possibilities and envy-worthy photo-ops. From the magnificent Sólheimajökull Glacier, the photographer magnet Seljalandsfoss waterfall, to the mighty waves of the Atlantic Oceans at the Reynisfjara black sand beach, you are guaranteed to enjoy more than what meets the eye as our guides are fun and creative.
We have also arranged the itinerary in a sequence that will help you avoid the main crowd, so hopefully, we can keep the natural beauties more to ourselves.
In this mini-bus (max 17 person) trip, you will be accompanied by experienced guides and a small group of other adventure-seeking travelers who wisely say no to a boring coach bus.
Ask us as many questions as you like and you will be rewarded with interesting and sometimes weird knowledge about this Nordic island and its quirky people.
During the height winter, you will witness chasing the daylight in Iceland. The soft light casts a natural filter no Instagram or any app can parallel.
Make sure you book ahead of time as this tour is very popular because it is the best sightseeing tour so explore the wonders of the South in one day.
Did we mention that our bus has Wi-Fi and Icelandic music on board? What else can you ask for? Come with us!
The first stop is at Seljalandsfoss waterfall where you can walk behind and feel the vibrations of the water hitting the ground. Right next to it is the waterfall Gljúfrabúi which is hidden in a small gorge. To see the waterfall you have to balance over stones in the river.
Prepare to meet the pearl of the south coast, Skógafoss waterfall. It is dropping 60 metres from a cliff and producing a lot of mist which makes beautiful rainbows in the sunshine. Try to warm up for the glacier by running up the 527 steps to the top!
The adventure continues at Sólheimajökull glacier which is part of the 4th biggest glacier in Iceland, Mýrdalsjökull. We will get some helmets, harnesses, crampons and ice axes and hike on the ice for 1 to 1,5 hours. A spectacular experience to learn more about this breathtaking natural phenomenon.
We will visit the black sand beach of Reynisfjara where big waves are hitting the shore. You can see basalt columns in the cliffs, rock pillars in the water and the cliffs of Dýrhólaey in the distance. But this beach is also a paradise for bird lovers because puffins are nesting on top of the rocks in the summertime from June to August.
