What to bring:
This is the ultimate highlands of Iceland tour. On this tour we have combined two of the most popular highlands tours in Iceland; Þórsmörk and Eyjafjallajökull.
We will be exploring the wonders of Eyjafjallajökull form above and below. Enjoy an exciting Super Jeep drive up to the top of the Eyjafjallajökull glacier. From there you will see the famous volcano that stopped the air traffic in 2010. You will also have a beautiful view looking over the South coast of Iceland.
Coming down from the volcano we continue our journey over the glacier rivers into the Þórsmörk valley. There is no bridge over the glacier river so it’s an adventure itself to drive in our Super Jeeps over the river. Þórsmörk offers some of Iceland’s best hiking trails with it’s beautiful landscape and mighty mountain ridges. We drive deep into Þórsmörk, stopping at various opportunities to snap photos, enjoy a short hike or just to appreciate the grand view.
We will go and explore the wonders that are to be found in Þórsmörk and we always try to fit our trips to our guest’s needs and wishes.
On this tour we will stop for a lunch at the Volcano Huts, located in Húsadalur valley. The Volcano Huts is famous for it’s cozy atmosphere, great food and friendly staff.
In this tour you will experience Icelandic nature up close in one of Iceland’s most exquisite valley. If you’re looking for a combination of snow and preserved Icelandic nature, then this is the perfect tour for you!
